LPS Family: We are not ending the week the way we would like to with students in class. With temps dropping below freezing overnight and a refreeze of residential and school roads in the morning, we will remain virtual for Friday, Jan. 30th. We are concerned about the condition of roads for our buses, teen drivers, staff, and families traveling to and from our campuses. As a reminder, we will be in session Friday, Feb. 13th for in-person learning. We truly appreciate your patience, support, and understanding as we prioritize the safety of our students and staff. We will see everyone back on Monday!

Just a few shots of our campuses around the district after the storm. As much as we want students back, we also want to keep them safe! We can’t wait to for it all to melt and get back to school.

LPS Family: The sun is out today and melted some of the snow and ice away, but it did not impact the residential roads or school parking lots as much as we hoped. As a result, we will continue with virtual/distance learning for Thursday, January 29th. We miss seeing our students and appreciate your flexibility during this time. Please remind your students to log in to their Google Classroom and/or ROOMS for further information. Thank you!

As a result, we will continue with virtual/distance learning for Wednesday, January 28th. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding during this time. Please remind your students to log in to their Google Classroom and/or ROOMS for further information. Thank you!
