Officers of the Lawton FFA chapter participated in the 2025 Oklahoma FFA Chapter Officer Leadership Training (COLT) Conference on Sept. 16 at the Great Plains Technology Center.
The eight state FFA officers planned and conducted this year’s conference, which was centered around the theme “On Target: Take Aim.” The training focused on anticipatory leadership, encouraging officers to prepare, plan ahead, and act with intention in their leadership roles. Elected officers from each of the 66 high school FFA chapters in the Southwest area attended the conference.
Officers attending from the Lawton chapter were: Larrett Donell, president; Kadence Williams, vice president; Kendle Cunningham, treasurer; James “JR” Gibson, reporter; and Chris Hines, sentinel. Advisers are Kelly New and Colby Turner.
COLT Conference is sponsored by Public Service Company of Oklahoma as a special project of the Oklahoma FFA Foundation. For more information, visit www.okffa.org.
